Run by veteran wiffler and former Fast Plastic players Tim Cooke, Mid Atlantic Wiffle will host five tournaments and a playoff tournament during its inaugural 2017 season. In its first season, MAW has been home to the best competition in the greater Mid Atlantic area. The crown jewel of MAW is its beautiful two-field custom wiffleball complex, which is expected to undergo further upgrades in time for the 2018 season. Check them out at www.midatlanticwiffle.com.
Founded in 2008 in Blauvelt, NY, Palisades WBL is the country’s premiere fast pitch league. In 2017, the league hosted 11 teams which played a 22-game schedule starting in late April and ending in mid-September. In addition, a minor league was added in 2016 with eight teams playing a 14-game schedule. The league uses a professional format modeled after Major League Baseball. General Managers draft players in February and March, trades are possible from the start of the season through the July 31st deadline, and players can be called up from the minor leagues by major league teams anytime during the season. The Texas Wiffle® Ball League was established in 2012 by Will Marshall and Kyle Herridge in Frisco, Texas. In the six seasons since, the TWBL has grown steadily into one of the top leagues in the country. TWBL strives to provide a family friendly but competitive atmosphere, which it accomplishes via its medium pitch and fast pitch leagues and tournaments.
